Sicily Amalfi Coast Tour Itinerary:
Day 1st Palermo – Filicudi (64nm)
Set sail for the island of Filicudi. Anchor instantly. Filicudi is a tiny isle of nine square kilometres at the further reaches of the Aeolian archipelago which arch off the northeast coast of Sicily like a comet’s tail. What is most remarkable about this area – apart from its beauty – is the emptiness… Anchored in tranquillity all you might see is the peculiar goat, a couple houses dotted among prickly pear trees and the blooming broom, and also two ports that are small are ’sed by the most naked signs of human life in the island. Most of Filicudi is totally wild despite really being a mere hop from the party isle of Panarea.
Day 2nd Filicudi – Salina (14nm)
Short hop over to isles of Salina. Anchor overnight (or sail a little further over to the party island of Panarea! This tiny island, Panarea, off the north coast of Sicily, has quietly become the epicenter of the chicest summer scene in the West Mediterranean sailing area) Or should you prefer more tranquility for your yacht charter in Italy, then Salina is the green and rich gem of the Aeolian isles which stays more “off the beaten track”.
Another shop hop to Lipari. Anchor overnight. Lipari is the middle of the Aeolian islands, and has the largest concentration of tourist facilities, including bars, restaurants, stores. Opportunity to pamper ashore…
Day 4th Lipari – Messina (44nm)
Over to mainland Sicily, and in port of Messina overnight.
Messina is known as the doorway to Sicily, situated near the peninsular acting to the mainland as a busy thoroughfare and was set up by the Greeks. Mainly a port town, Messina is filled with feeling and an incredible ancient history.
Day 5 Messina – Stromboli (44nm)
Head north on your yacht charter Amalfi coast, to Stromboli. Anchor overnight to watch the fireworks of the active volcano! The isle is unique because of the Stromboli Volcano: This continuously active volcano is one of the few in the world where a visitor can find an eruption “up close and personal” most of the time. Due to the absence of large resorts and a touristic harbour the island has kept its original setting: life in this area of the entire world is relaxing and easy.
Day 6th Stromboli – Ponza (160nm)
Anchor at Ponza. Ponza is one of the largest islands of the Amalfi coast, with blue waters and also a stunning hilly landscape, frequent visitors who try to maintain its charms a secret love the isle.

Day 7th Ponza.
Spend the day chilling out after the long crossing.
Day 8th Ponza – Ischia (44nm)
Gentle trip around to the island of Ponza. In port overnight. Even bigger than Ponza, Ischia is considered to be all the more amazing than Capri. There are several towns along the coast, with lots of excellent eateries. Previously colonised by the Greeks, Syrausansa, Romans, Saracens, Turks, and Aragonese in turn; it is packed full of history!
Day 9 Ischia – Capri 18nm
Short hop to Capri. In port overnight. Well the rich and famous and known as the center for luxurious yachting around Naples. The chief harbour is the place to be seen in the summer, but there’s also a good deal to explore inland.
Day 10 Capri – Amalfi 18nm
Another short hop to Amalfi. Anchor overnight. Amalfi is a lovely town, assembled into the mountainous shoreline, full of charm and atmosphere. This is the ideal relaxing place to spend the past evening on the mainland of Amalfi Coast and Sicily Itinerary.
